Episode 40 - DIY Flats trip and Tuskie school

Episode 40 - On this episode, we start off with a very special announcement about one of our hosts. We then move into an approach on planning a fishing trip with an emphasis on heading north for tailing fun. Pretty quickly into the show, we chat about Voltzy's obsession with Black Spot Tuskfish and we get a little technical for those wanting to get the drum on these little blue tractors. Its just Voltz and Chris with this one, please enjoy as there is guaranteed to be some diamonds that Geoff exotic lets out. Another very un-edited show and this time the internet is good.

Episode 39 - Nat Bromhead

Episode 39 - On this episode we chat to Nat Bromhead, former Saltwater Flyfishing guide and creator of the now called Australian Saltwater Flyfishing Forum. We chat to Nat about his time as a guide, his contributions to the sport and also the very beginnings of the forum and the impact it has had on the sport. Nat also talks about the birth of fly caught free swimming black marlin inside Fraser Island, a potentially gone forever Hervey Bay Goldy fishery, in addition to just a few funny memories. We also tall about what he is up to now.
Also on this show....we cant hold back any further regarding fishing and the Corona virus social distancing regulations... some shit just has to be said.
 

Episode 38 - Dave Bradley (Australian Flyfishing Outfitters)

Episode 38 - On this show we are stoked to have Dave Bradley on the show!! Dave is one of Australia's most experienced Saltwater Flyfishing guides. Dave comes on the show to give us a brief run down on the man himself and we the move onto a chat about his thoughts on Permit. Dave's thoughts on Permit are real pieces of gold for those who are students of the species. From there we chat to Dave about his ties and interests in Florida and his deep respect for the origins of our sport.
We must offer our apologies for the quality of the show, there must be massive loads on the internet at the time of recording this, but the show was too difficult to cut up without losing context... it was out of our control.

Episode 37 - We had a great chat to the Snowy Mountains top guide Crag Daly. Craig has owned a guide operating out of Jindabyne for over 25 years !! Not many if any hold a candle to the knowledge and experience Craig has after having acquired that much time on the water. A CCI with the Federation of Fly Fishers and all round top guy, Craig is very much the definition of the modern angler with excellent Saltwater experience and the confidence to think outside the box when it comes to trout fishing the pristine Snowy Mountains.

Episode 36 - We are stoked to have living legend Paul "The Coach" Dolan, one of Australia's most premiere guides  and most accomplished Saltwater flyfisherman. We get into a chat about what the Mackay region offers with its wealthy saltwater options in addition to some of the countries best Barramundi fishing. Paul also goes into detail talking about the fabled DK dancer fly... how to tie it, and how to fish it as well as the origins of the fly.
Also, in the beginning we try a little experiment for the haters that lurk in the shadows and Chris takes the foot off the gas for a bit. Things loosen up and we move onto the VGDC or as it's known from now on "The Drippy Crab"

Episode 33 - On this episode we delve into the dark arts of Spey/ Skagit and Scandi casting with a dribbling of single handed thrown in. Nic is super knowledgeable and experienced with single and double handed spey casting.
Nic is "living the lyrics" so to speak as this style of fishing is Nic's preferred way to fish. On this show, Nic points out that spey casting is seriously overlooked as a way to catch fish in Australia. This could be the most interesting show we have done so far as every person who fishes fly should definitely not be ignoring this side of flyfishing.
